    Take the gelding out. Simple.

I always seperate gelding and mare unless it is shown that they will act fine with eachother. You can seperate them or have different turnout times. Another thing that can be done (I dont but whatever ) is supplements there are some supplements you can give mare to calm them down. You ahve to be careful because some things are banned at shows. So be careful with any supplements. Some examples are: Caffine cocane cocoa meth ( the list goes on for pages)

But the best thing to do is sepperate them :)

We had the same problem, we had my mare and my friends mare with my sisters gelding in a field and they got on fine…then my mum bought a young welsh section A gelding in the field just for one night while they fixed the gate from his field….my pony bullied him. Horses/Ponies don’t welcome newcomers all the time, and are more likley to be quite dominant with them especially at first. I’d take the newcomer out if I were you xxxx

Sounds like they need seperating for now. Maybe try and put the gelding in an ajoining field for a while, if this works then put them back together and see what happens, but it might be that the time has come to seperate your geldings and mares. Otherwise it’s just a matter of time before one of them gets injured.

If I would you I would mix there turnout schedules around. If that would be a problem you might have to make a fenceline to make it into 3 seperate paddocks, that way you could go girl boy girl, so the girls won’t be next to each other.

    Good Luck.

    Seperate the gelding.

If you put one mare in with him, the other might jump in nd hurt itself.

You should defently seperate them. They could cause serious damage to eachother. Ive seen this happen before. The one that they are fighting over got shoved through a steal wall and was killed. This isnt something to mess around with. Im not tring to scare u or anything but they need to have a break for a while. Maybe even just a week. Maybe longer. Then get the two who are fighting and put them together. Then gradually add the gelding. If they contuine to fight. than there is no hope for even tring again.

Leave them be, they’ll hash it all out themselves.
